The Eye of the Storm

Here is a custom pendant featuring a traditional evil eye symbol in a handmade PMC and glass setting.  This is an alternate version of my Ice Storm design (which is also listed in my gallery).

It measures approximately 1 1/2" high (including the bail), and 1 1/4" wide.

The frame is constructed of textured Precious Metal Clay, overlaid on a matching hand-cut glass background.  This makes the entire piece extremely sturdy, and reinforces the silver as well.

The centrally placed dichroic cabochon is encircled by glittering, smooth glass crystals, which twinkle deliciously in the light, and glisten as the pendant shifts to and fro.

Perhaps the best feature of this design is that the clear center changes color when laid over various fabrics. So whatever you happen to be wearing, this piece will instantly match it.

Besides, that eye kind of follows people around the room.  They're not going to steal your pens while you're wearing it, that's for sure!
