Magenta Magic

This deliciously shimmering pendant calls to mind a waterfall frozen in action, accented with vivid magenta highlights that bring its translucent sparkles to life. 

It is handmade from beautiful dichroic glass, kiln-fused in my home studio.  Each piece is carefully fired to a high temperature, and slowly annealed (cooled) for proper fusing and maximum durability.

At approximately 2" x 1/2", this piece is bold and simply stunning to wear, but very lightweight and comfortable as well.  There is a special channel bail built directly into the pendant, through which a chain can be easily slipped.

My favorite part of this design is the teardrop of clear glass that lies over the heart of the piece.  It's not only pleasing in tactile way, but it offers a little magnified peek into the very soul of the pendant.  It's fun to touch and look at while wearing or handling this necklace.
