Description:
This large, kiln formed mural is composed of three 22" x 32" panels making the total size when hung 68" x 32." Each panel was layered and fired seven times...some lasting over nine days. Cut glass combined with our techniques to create dimension gives the piece so much depth. Dozens of trees were cut and pulled with the torch then layered with even more cut leaves, stringer, and frit of all sizes to create the 3/8" to 3/4" thickness of each panel. All of the background color is frit wash on clear....layered over and over as one would do a watercolor wash.
