"Maize"

I created "Maize" last fall: 2 ears of Indian corn arranged as Yin and Yang with "crop circle" background. There are over 1500 pieces in this 20" x 20" mosaic. The kernels are fused glass pebbles, the leaves are stained glass (some gold colored leaves appear black in the photo), the background is made with unglazed ceramic tiles.
