I created this "Garden Variety" lamp as my way of bringing the beauty of my garden inside our home year-round! This piece is entirely my own design - NO patterns and NO forms. You'll notice the subtle change from geometric to mosaic-type design. The colors are very muted until the lamp is lit - then it truly dazzles the entire room. I used a variety of techniques including a different type of soldering done to accent the centers of the poppies and the lazy susans. Also, in keeping with my desire to repurpose whenever possible, I used a "Goodwill" solid walnut base that seems to fit the personality of this lamp perfectly! I hope you enjoy viewing my creation!
