Description:
Cool shades of cathedral and opalescent art glass are cut, assembled and kiln-fused to 1460 degrees, forming the initial flat vessel design. The piece returns to the kiln again to be slumped via the "drop-out" technique: glass is fired on an open support and organically falls to create its unique 3-dimensional shape. Prominent colors used: Turquoise Blue and White opaque, Sky Blue and Clear transparent. Height: 7-1/4" Width: 11.5" Depth: 11.5" Weight: 5 lbs., 3 oz. Rim is approx. 1/2" thick.
