Committing to Love

This personalized glass on glass stained glass mosaic piece was a wedding gift for my nephew and his bride.  His mom had recently changed cabinet doors, so I upcycled  the discarded glass front cabinet door from their home as both the substrate and the frame.  The engraved picture on glass was copied from one of their engagemnet pictures.  Some of the glass pieces were also personalized using color slide to apply another engagement picture to several glass tiles, as well as to apply some of the fleur de lis graphics that matched their bedding.  The predominant colors of black, white,  and clear textured glass, along with purple and gold accents were the bride's favorite colors and were also the colors used in their wedding.  I learned a lot through this labor of love.
