This Coral piece was made using strips of Bullseye Glass laid out in a circular shape and fused. During the same firing I sprinkled Bullseye fine frit into a smaller circle approimately 1/16"- 1/8"inche thick to make what I call "Holey Frit" (It looks lacey when fired) . When they are done I cut a circle of Irridescent glass the same circumference as the Holey frit, placed it on top of the holey frit, then placed my strip piece on top of that and did a full fuse firing of the three layers. I slumped it onto a stainless steel bowl mold and it came out just as I had planned.
