Orange Glo

This piece is a pot melt where the glass was melted in a flower pot and allowed to fall into a kiln washed pot saucer to maintain the roundness. However, tere was some type of reaction to the saucer and some crystals appeared in the mix making look like some quartz was growing in those couple of spots. I fired it onto a orange striker glass from Bullseye using the edge of the glass as the top of the piece. When this is illuminated from behind the pot  melt appears to have a halo around it.
