ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sally’s search for a new hobby resulted in the relaxing, creative, colorful world of Mosaic. Her artwork became a much needed diversion from a “black and white” accounting career. Having experimented with mosaic for about three years, Sally’s eternal desire to learn, combined with an increasing passion for the art attracted Sally to a mosaic school in Ravenna, Italy. There she learned about the ancient art of Mosaic; the techniques, the materials and style, as they compare to modern mosaic.

Sally’s interest remains primarily with modern mosaic and she has found a niche in the western art world. Sally’s eclectic style is apparent in her mosaics. Stained glass is the medium of choice. Her subjects are bold and colorful.
