A Pair of Antique French windows with new glass inserts. American Artisan Carl Correll has just completed a pair of antique window frames. They are apparently from a set of French windows that opened up into a room. He has finished making an insert for each of them and they are beautiful. You can see the antique knobs on the side that was used to pull the window open. These window inserts are about 23.5" x 24" and the outside of the frame sizes are 27" x 28"@.

Even though the glass looks white here, it is really clear. It is just standing up against a garage door. The clear glass is called "Glue Glass". They pour the glass on a glued surface and when it is removed from the surface, it is clear, but with all kinds of indents and striations.

We usually sell single windows like this for $450.00 to $550.00 each.
