Garden's Gate

Description:

"Garden’s Gate" ~ Who doesn’t like to take a stroll through a garden in bloom?

Garden’s Gate was created using a technique known as “Painting with Glass”, which uses frit (ground glass pieces), torch-worked stringers and cut pieces of sheet glass to create impressionistic images. A kiln is used to melt the glass pieces together to create a finished piece that is one solid piece of glass, no glue is used. The painting process along with multiple firings creates an image filled with texture, color, and depth.

This lovely garden scene fused glass panel is inspired by Brenda Harris’, “Come On In” from her instructional painting book Painting with Brenda Harris, Volume 2, Precious Times. Display options include, on a stand or in a frame and it’s absolutely gorgeous when lite from behind.

Size is approximately, 10" wide by 9" high
