Moonlight Loon

The Loon is the official Minnesota state bird, and their distinctive feather pattern fits very well with my abstract style.
I don't work from patterns. Instead, I build the panel from a photo intuitively, laying out the glass and simply referencing the photo as seen in the progress photos.
The finished panel is 19"h x 20 1/2"w, with a 3/8" zinc edge.
