Birds Nest with 3D leaves

I have been studying with Debbie Scott who owns Desert Sands studio in Burbank Heights, Washington.  This birds nest concept came to me after I painted it on canvas, but I struggled with how to make the glass version a little more 3D.  Finally, I decided to put the leaves on wires so they could remain free from the main glass pieces.  Debbie helped me with the concept and due to her valuable experience, it worked beautifully!  It measures approximately 18" x 16" and was a combination of glue-chip glass and various stained glass.  Laura Suddath, Sweetwater, Idaho / cwinicole at yahoo dot com
