Bald Eagle "Kaya"

This is my drawing of an education bald eagle named Kaya from a raptor rehab center run by a dear friend. This eagle was a very special resident and ambassador at the center and is dearly missed after having died last year. It was a delight to capture Kaya in glass.

A majestic bald eagle portrayed in glass. Individual cut pieces of glass fused onto a blue base, then slumped into a softly sloped plate.  Measures 10 x 10", designed, cut, fused, slumped and annealed in my home studio.
