The La Puerta Roja (the red door) is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Alamos. Behind the red door is a large enclosed courtyard. Lush tropical gardens and pools fill the courtyard and it's a very calm and relaxing place to be. There are no red windows at Puerta Roja, but this glass piece is my interpretation of what a window there would look like. Pretty blue and red dichroics just shimmer here! Have I said I LOVE DICHROIC!!?? It just adds so much color and the layering of it really can add alot of dimension. There is dark red at the top and deep green at the bottom. The piece is layered on a clear blue base which adds even more depth and when held to the light you can see through the sides of the window La Puerta Roja is 2 x 1 1/4 and finished with a delphi silver plated bail.
***********************the last photo is one of the 'kissing alley' in Alamos, a beautiful little cobblestone alleyway that connects the Alameda to the Plaza de Armas.
