Spirited Beauty

This painting is approximately 8" x 12" (the largest my kiln will allow). I have used recycled glass from a local window company and Glass Line paints. I layer my paints, allowing for drying time, and as each layer goes on I adjust the thickness paint and the pressure and size of the brush I use. This way I do not end up removing the first layer of paint when applying additional layers. Once I complete the painting I fire on a modified full fuse. I do not cap. By not capping the paint colors are brighter and the painting retains texture.
