Chrysocolla Jewelry Box

This is a lovely stained glass box; created with traditional stained glass techniques, it has a chunk of polished chrysocolla (also known as Eilat stone) embedded in the center of the design.

The floor of the box is regular mirror and the sides are green art glass.  The lid is protected from wrenching by a line decorated with dyed agate and a crystal briolette.  The design extends over the box edge for ease of opening.

The box seams have been treated with a warm copper patina.  You can vaguely see my reflection with the camera, shining off the mirrored bottom through the green glass.  In reality, the green glass in the lid and the mirrored base are smooth and evenly colored.

Lid size:  Just over 5 inches square.  The box is 1 1/2 inch deep.

About my stained glass:  I design all my pieces and use each design only once, so you can be sure you are getting a unique creation.  I use the finest materials and techniques I know of.

All my creations are made in my home studio in Livna, Israel, and are carefully packed so that they will reach you in perfect condition.
