Kansas Wheat

This represents the seasons of Kansas. Winter wheat is planted in the Fall and sprouts before freezing occurs, then becomes dormant until the soil warms up in the spring. The wheat grows and matures until ready to be harvested by early July. The sun uses a sunflower motif since the state flower of Kansas is the sunflower.
