Sunroom Parrots

This is my first completed color glass piece. After reading a "how-to" stained glass book, I started my first all textured clear glass piece less than a year ago. I didn't finish the project but instead started on this  71 X 30 inch window design for a sunroom we had recently completed. The design is my own with etchings in the birds face and some of the leaves.

It was quite an experience working with glass. Long hours and hard work, but I enjoyed every minute. Now that I am a retired stay at home mom, I look forward to those free hours to create many more colorful stained glass works in the future.
