We've Only Just Begun

This stepping stone was a Christmas present for our church choir director. His last name was Owens and his favorite singing group was the Carpenters. The "O" is for their last name and the notes are the first four notes to the song We've Only Just Begun. And the red flowers are the traditional Christmas poinsettia. In addition, his clothes were always black, so, I just had to use black glass wherever possible.

It seemed rather appropriate to have a stepping stone outside the front door of a wonderful family by the name of Owens that have only just begun their living their lives together.
