Calle Chihuahua Fired Glass Pendant

Description:

Calle Chihuahua is 3x1 1/2 and layered glass on a black base. Dichroic blues and oranges add alot of beauty to this window.

All of my glass is tack fired. It is my favorite firing. It gives my work a very strong dimension and depth. Then I fire polish every piece at least twice to give it a brilliant sparkle!

If you are planning on a visit to mexico, you should include a trip here to Alamos...... this is the real Mexico, an old colonial mining town, rich in history, up in the foothills of the Sierra Madres Mountains. You won't find any huge resorts here, but you will find lovely inns and bed and breakfasts and very, very old casitas and haciendas to rent. If you want, you can drive down the mountains and over to the Sea of Cortez for the day or night. We have been here for 9 months now, renovating a little old casa. So, when I am not pouring cement or laying ladrillo bricks, I am fusing glass!! I have included a photo of the stable on our property. it's where I hope to put my little workshop!

Thanks for visiting my delphi shop! linda lou
