Pteropod: Limacina helicina

Pteropod: Limacina helicina is a 3-dimensional stained glass representation of a pteropod that sits upon a lit pedestal. Pteropods are sea snails that have a split “foot” which flaps like wings to travel through water. Just like the real pteropod, one side of its shell is concave and one side is convex. This piece measures 24.5" H x 26" W x 16" D.
