Family Crest

This piece is the end  result of a couple of years of contemplating how to combine my hobby with an old church window.  By turning the window upside down it gives the window the shape of a crest upon which I can tell our family story.  Each panel reveals a slice of story from our heritage to our interests to our hobbies and to the places we have lived.  All these images are centered around the Bible which has always been the foundation of our family.  The weaving vine represent Jesus, the vine, who weaves his way into our family and gives us life.
