A photo I took in Alaska and the Love and memories of Grandpa Buck's old trucks was the inspiration for this piece. The truck was drawn off and cut out of 3/4" ply wood and I set out to learn to cut glass with Pauline Mills at Glassy Alley in Lubbock, Texas. After the mosaic truck was finished we attached it to a larger piece of wood for the background. My Step-Dad helped frame it out of old pickets. I Love my finished piece which measures 40 inches wide and weighs 37 pounds.
