"Simple yet elegant" is what my girl friend told me when she wanted me to make 2 pieces for her bedroom windows. I used rough rolled glass on the body of the work for privacy, a mint green for the center diamonds and a light creme and brown streaky for the center panels. I "rusted" the zinc came for a vintage look and framed it poplar, so it would take a stain finish. The matching stem rooter was added as I had a bit of glass leftover and decided it would make a nice touch.
