I purchased an Indian design sweatshirt in Taos, New Mexico, and converted the design to a glass pattern. I had to round edges (Indian design has a lot of right angle turns) on decorative base pieces, and altered the design to fit workable glass cuts. I made up for some of the change from the original fancy design by adding gems here and there. It measures 11 x 13" and took 2 months from design to finished product. I also used gems for the eyes and painted the pupils in standard cat-style on the back. She sits on my dining room window sill and follows me with her gaze every time I walk through. We are great friends.
