Wood duck

The inspiration for this panel was many days spent enjoying the crystal clear waters of Current River in southern Missouri.  At Big Spring, near Van Buren, MO, you can eat a delicious meal at the Big Spring Lodge and if you sit on the glassed in porch you overlook the spring branch feeding into Current River.   And you just might see a mother wood duck and her flock of young paddling around in the spring branch.  The leaves are overlaid, attached to brass rod.
