Tiffany Iris

Stained glass mini mosaic pendant featuring a blue iris from an original Tiffany lamp design. In this piece, I meticulously painted the edges of each piece of glass with white gesso. Since the sides of the glass are transparent, I have noticed that a dark grout will cause the face of the glass to become dull in a mosaic. I was very pleased that the vibrant blues and greens remained vibrant with my little experiment :)
