Florida Totem

This "totem" was inspired by the request of a friend who had a southwest totem hung from the vaulted ceiling in his home.  The southwest totem unfortunately broke, and he was in search of a replacement.  He now lives in Florida, and wanted something with a Florida theme.  This is a combination of woodwork, fused glass and ingenuity!  The fused glass pieces are approx. 3" round and feature different scenes native to Florida. They are mounted on oval-shaped hand cut pieces of cherry wood which have been sanded, varnished and sealed with polyurethane. They feature a Dolphin, a Flamingo, a Starfish, a beautiful Florida Sunset and a Palm Tree.  Only four of the five sections are pictured individually due to lack of space on the site. The scenes are connected together with silver chain and the total length is approx. 3 1/2 feet.  If you would be interested in having one of your own, please feel free to contact us and we will try to arrange a special order.
