Description:
Here is a large panel I built from an old small Tiffany window cartoon I found years ago in some obscure stained glass windows book. I always liked the design which I believe is clematis flowers and vine. Since it was just a line drawing with no colors, I have no idea what the real window (if it was even ever built) looked like color wise, so I decided to build my version of it using all vintage A.C. Fischer German full antique glass. The window measures 18 x 44 inches without the frame. The thick wood frame came from a local 1880's bar which had an old mirror in it when I bought it. This piece is done in lead. I picked antique glass for this window because of it's unmatched crystalline brilliance and exceptionally rich depth of color that only true mouth blown antique glass has.
