New Beginnings

New Beginnings is a 16" fused mosaic. The inspiration was based on a Rangoli design incorporating repeating patterns. Thousands of pieces of glass as small as 3/16" in sixteen colors were cut and tack fused prior to assembly. It took 13 hours to get all the pieces just the way I wanted for one final tack fuse. I love the way the light changes the look of this piece.
