Spendid Fairy Wrens

This piece is a mosaic sculpture showing a pair of Australian Splendid Fairy wrens. The feathers of the birds are made of kiln-worked glass and dichroics. The base is made from a Mallee root found in the bush. The piece is approximately 25cm in each direction.
