Love Mosaic

I created this love mosaic project for and e-book that I developed to help teach various nipping and mosaic design techniques. It is done on a pressed board letters cut outs, available at any hobby store. You will notice that each letter is uses different techniques. The L features a tear drop cut wheat pattern and is then filled with triangle shapes. The O uses the tear drop shape and adds a leaf shape. The edges are done in rectangles and then filled with triangles. The V uses all rectangle shapes and teaches how to make a simple heart shape using two tear drop shapes. The E uses a heart and vine accent and then the background is in what I call crazy paving using various random shapes to fill in the background.
