"Fall of Gold"

This work is inspired by my interest in incorporating various techniques in a leaded glass panel, and to expand the traditional perception of stained glass construction. The various squares in the piece are fused, painted, sandblasted and sometimes empty of glass totally. The piece is built of hollow heart lead with internal steel reinforcing that has sometimes been allowed to continue outward. 20"x42".
