"Lotus Friend"

This fused glass bowl, platter has a diameter of 15 3/4". It was fused four times in a kiln, using layering to get the effect of the lilies and lotus floating above and the fish and stems below the water. Then it was placed on a ceramic mold, returned to the kiln and slumped into shape. Frit, as well as small pieces of stringers, were used for detailing.
