Lent

This is 1 of 5 40" x 70" panels that were created for an interior wall between the sanctuary and community room of a local Luthern Church. Together they describe 5 of the seasons of the church year. Against a royal purple backdrop is a thorn-wrapped, storm-tossed, yet study and unbroken cross. Angels (A Host of Angels, Vol 1 & 2, by Jan Patten, 2001)offer the Last Supper Sacrament.
