Season After Pentecost

This is 1 of 5 40" x 70" panels that were created for an interior wall between the sanctuary and community room of a local Luthern Church. Together they describe 5 of the seasons of the church year. A warm, oprn, green design echos the alter and vestment colors for the church season between Pentecost and Advent. The tree of life holds pride of place and is a place where the "lion shall lie down with the lamb." An symmetric rainbow (night and day), large sheaves of wheat and a feeling of quiet calm leave the viewer with a sense of serenity and peace.
