35 Years: 4 States: 2 Kids: 3 Grandkids

This was my second piece after creating a simple sun catcher in my first class. It was for my parents 35th anniversary. The four corners contain the flowers from each of the states they have lived in together. Clockwise from the upper left and in order of residency, Missouri is the Hawthorne flower, Arkansas is the Apple Blossom, Florida is the Orange Blossom, and Tennessee is the Iris. There are 35 pieces in the border and in the center is a "G" for Gale. This piece was definitely a labor of love and a great learning experience.
