Description:

Opaque strips in black, white and red were arranged to form an open basket weave after fusing. This project taught us a few things... you'll see that one side is "wavy" and the other is straight. The small pieces of glass that were cut and placed along the edges to create a uniform thickness weren't secure enough and fell out when put into the kiln (and not repositioned).
