Swim Preppy

This mosaic mirror incorporates traditional mosaic tiles, hand cut pieces of stained glass and found objects (magnets, jewelry beads, key chain symbols, pottery bisques). The mirror reflects the interest of the intended recipient who is an avid swimmer (swim magnets) and favorite colors of pink and green. The bottom quadrant represents the water with mermaids and glass beads. The two side quadrants are magnet outlined by jewelry beads to shape a flower. The thin stain glass connecting the "flowers" (magnets) represent the vine. The mirror was a gift for posterity and I added a picture of the recipient outlined in stained glass with a clear glass over the picture.
