Stream Profile

This original custom window was made for a friend of mine. It's trapezoidal shape followed the vaulted ceiling and fills in the space above the television. The window is intended to be a stream profile, as if you were under the water. I gathered, cleaned and varnished shale rocks to use as the stream bed. The water is made of various shades of water glass. The "branch" is root beer brown textured glass. On the front of the window, I soldered a hook which holds a taxidermy trout to give the impression that the fish is suspended in the water, and to showcase the trophy. The window is approximately 16.5 square feet.
