Morning Star

Morning Star is a name given to the planet Venus when it appears in the east before sunrise. Venus will rise in the morning a few hours before the Sun, then as the Sun rises, the sky brightens and Venus fades away in the daytime sky. The Greeks called the morning star Phosphoros, “the bringer of light”. The glass selected for this panel is textured on the back side which offers a layering effect of opalescent and streaky glass in soft yellow, orange and clear. With a star-shaped bevel comprising the center and four orange, multi-faced jewels, the effect is gorgeous stained glass and luminosity at its very best! Measures: 9 1/4 inches in diameter
