Dogwood in the Spring

This octagonal design was created for a bathroom window in the Carolina mountains. Originally I intended to fill the space with all glass but decided mid-project to only do partial glass and leave open space for being able to still look out the window. The blossoms are cut from iridized white glass with yellow centers. Branches are a brown wispy textured glass to resemble bark. Glue chip fills in the background with small amber frame.
