3 D Mosaic Cockatoo

Each shard of stained glass was cut by hand. I used bright millefiori to add a bit of bling. The tree is a compliation of lovely poly flower beads and green glass gems with yellow flowers; I added the MP vines and encrusted them with tiny glass seed beads that lend a definite lichen texture. I used a moss colored grout, then painted it with browns, greens, and gold. I feel the outcome is very tropical. It has all been sealed to protect from stains and dust.

This U2 (Umbrella Cockatoo) stands 13 inches tall and is 5 inches at the widest.
