Fall's Canopy

The design is a glass-on-glass (GOG) mosaic art piece, featuring the view from piece under a canopy of fall-colored leaves, looking up at the sky while lying under a tree. Glimpses of a blue sky peek through the leaves, with sunshine and brightness surrounding you. Step into this design and surround yourself with the beauty of autumn's colors. Unique piece highlights: Hundreds of hand-cut stained glass triangles, 3D aspect (two layers of red, yellow and orange triangle/leaves). I do not work from patterns or images, but instead I create my designs as I work, cutting and placing glass as the image "creates itself" on my substrate.
