Christ by Shorty

This is a piece of fused art.  The background in Spectrum Spirit Glass. I drew the face with Color Line Paint.  I then used several layers of 96 powder frit to create the sky, sunset and ground.  This was fired in the kiln approximately 3 times.  I then added the crosses, frit for the trees, grown and leaves, brown Spectrum for the tree, yellow stringers for the crown, sapphire coarse frit for the eyes and lipstick red powder frit for the blood.  The crosses are black noodles.  The piece is 12 x 12 and it was inspired by a card and my views of Easter in a different way.
