The base glass is black Bullseye 90 COE art glass and topped with white Bullseye 90 COE art glass. Rosie's eyes are brown, she has reddish brown hair and a blue headband. The crystal ball is a piece of dichroic glass. The edge of the bead is accented with gold dots. This is all hand painted by me Brenda Miller. The process is lengthy, first I cut the glass, top and bottom, to the desired size and shape. It is then fused together which takes about 1 1/2 hours. Then it is allowed to cool. Then comes the fun part, painting. After the painting is completed it goes into the kiln again for about 3 more hours and allowed to completely cool again. It's a long process but when they come out of the kiln it is always a surprise. This is a wonderful mini work of art with lots of personality and detail. Signed and dated.
