Pine Ridge 2015

This is a memory of working with and for the Lakota  in SD 

On the Pine Ridge reservation

In the form of a circle very important to the Lakota

The colours red black yellow and white

The 7 teepee from the flag of the nation

The turtle representing the area turtle lake

Feather's from the fields

Space between the circles is for iternity hope and the future for all

one bead for each one  killed at the Battle at Wounded Knee

This is a creation to honor and remember all those who have suffered so much
