At the request of a Haitian couple with a love of seahorses, I made this as a transom piece. It's about 36" by 10". It came about after some reading on the animals in which they were mythologically believed to guide the souls of drowned sailors to their final resting place. So, in the piece, I have two seahorse leading wispy figures in the direction of a central and majestic little guardian seahorse.
